Makam chahid Alger - martyrs' memorial

The Martyr Memorial ، Sanctuary of the Martyr or Maqam E'chahid (in Arabic: مقام الشهيد) is a monument overlooking the city of Algiers ، erected in 1982 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the independence of Algeria (5 July 1962) ، in memory of the chahids ، the Fighters of the Algerian War of Independence who died for the liberation of the country.
